Peace & Blessings!!!

The core collective of Ayiti Resurrect — Naima, Beatrice & Angelique — are excited to share some updates about our upcoming delegation in January! After two beautiful and successful fundraisers on both coasts and the building of our brilliant team of delegates, the grassroots collective Ayiti Resurrect will soon be on our way to continue our work in Comier, Leogane. We will be in Haiti during the first two weeks of January, working in collaboration with artists, healers and community builders to implement a mental wellness clinic, initiate an environmental sustainability education project, and facilitate art and music therapy workshops with and for quake survivors!

We have such an incredible team both in the U.S./diaspora and in Haiti, and the coalescing of all our offerings promises to be powerful!!! We have created programming and workshops based on the needs and requests of the community. And the delegates are a direct part of this building. Everything we have organized is Haitian-led, and we will continue this work after the delegation through the implementation of long-term programs, led by folks on the ground – who will share and build with our team of delegates.

To learn more about our delegates, please check out our newly updated “Delegates” page. Summaries of our offerings are listings on the “January 2012 delegation” page.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

We need to raise roughly $10,000 before we leave to Ayiti to cover expenses on the ground.

Please consider making an offering during this holiday season: https://www.wepay.com/donate/196391.

There are also other ways to support us:

1) donate your frequent flier miles to one of our delegates

2) donate a laptop for the community

3) donate art supplies for children and teens.

Details on our “Contribute page”.

Thank you for any help you can offer! We are truly grateful for all the support and blessings we have received and continue to receive. And we are thrilled and humbled to be doing this work with our brothers and sisters in Ayiti. We appreciate all of your prayers and meditations and continued blessings as we embark on another journey for collective healing.

With Love,

Naima, Beatrice, & Angelique
