Thanks to everyone’s generous contributions to Ayiti Resurrect’s Hurricane Matthew relief efforts and our tireless team of community partners in Haiti, we’ve been able to distribute much-needed food, water filtration systems, farm tools, and re-building materials like tin for roofs to people in Komye who need it most! We raised over $18,000, and over 1,000 people shared the campaign. DEEP gratitude & bright blessings to each and every person who contributed to this massive show of solidarity, & HUGE thanks to our lead partners on the ground who’ve been helping with the distribution of funds and supplies, and coordinating relief teams. Here are photos below from our partners that show the relief efforts and supplies distributed.

Please continue to spread the word about the Hurricane Matthew relief effortWe are close to raising our goal of $20,000 total which we hope to achieve in advance of our 7th delegation. We’ve assembled a beautiful multi-generational volunteer team of 14 Black healers, builders, farmers, and artists who are organizing now to go to Haiti in late December to work in collaboration with our partners in Komye to continue the rebuilding effort & restore farms and homes, bring much needed supplies, and facilitate projects in collaboration with community members focused on social, spiritual, emotional, physical, and environmental health.

Here is a list of supplies that are needed that we can bring down during our next delegation in December. Other ways to support Ayiti Resurrect, can be found here. MESI ANPIL!
